The B4058 Coombe Road has been closed from the turn off for Coombe Lane to Holywell Road due to a sinkhole. The road surface affected by the sinkhole itself isn’t actually that large, however, the excavation underneath is estimated to be 3m deep and wide, and the decision was made to close this section of road in the interests of safety.
While the road remains closed please do not move the “Road Closed” barriers as it is extremely unsafe for vehicle traffic to drive through and residents of Coombe will have to use alternative routes for access.
