Stroud District Council will be delivering the new waste containers from 15th August until 19th October 2016. The delivery schedule will result in some parish/wards receiving deliveries over a period of weeks as opposed to others that will be completed within a set week. This cannot be avoided and whilst we hope to be able to follow the programme as planned there may be cause for a delay or amendments.
Residents receiving a wheelie bin for their landfill waste, their food waste bin and kitchen caddy will be placed inside the bin along with an information sheet detailing the new service. There will be a sticker on top of the wheelie bin advising residents not to use the containers until 1st November 2016. For residents receiving sacks instead of wheelie bins, the sacks will be left with the food waste bin, kitchen caddy and information leaflet as close to the property as possible.
