A get-together is being held at St James Church, Churchend Lane, Charfield on 9th April 2017, with light refreshments between 2.30 and 3.00pm.
It will be an opportunity to enjoy the church and if the weather is fine, take a stroll in the churchyard. The tombs, headstones and walls are very dilapidated and in need of some urgent repair so support is sought to form a ‘Friends of St James Group’.
At 3.00pm there will be a talk about ideas to try to help this beautiful village asset.
