Remembrance Parade
Sunday 8th November 2026
The Remembrance Parade this year will start as usual from the Chipping at 10.40am, proceeding along Market Street, Long Street, and Church Street arriving at the War Memorial in Old Town at approximately 10.50am.
After the commemoration ceremony at the War Memorial, the Parade will proceed to St Mary’s Church where it will dismissed. This will be immediately followed by a Family Friendly Church Service in St Mary’s Parish Church.
Please be aware that the following roads will be closed and only access for emergency vehicles will be permitted. Please see below the times for the planned road closures.
