Be a Councillor Event
Stroud District Council is holding an event for residents who would like to find out about becoming a parish/town or district councillor.
The event is taking place on Monday 14th October at the Stroud District Council Offices, Ebley Mill, Stroud.
Road Closure from Bradley Road to Bradley Green

Removal of Public Payphone at The Green, Synwell
BT have formally started a consultation with Stroud District Council on the removal of the payphone at The Green, Synwell, as it has only had 4 calls made from it in the last 12 months. However, this maybe an opportunity for the public to take over the phone box for another use such as, a library or to house a defibrillator. New exhibition at the Heritage Centre this September
A new exhibition at the Heritage Centre opened on 12th September. Called Times They are a Changing, the exhibition looks at history and events in Wotton over a selection of decades where the year ends in nine.
The exhibition runs from September to December.

New Town Council Facebook page
Wotton Town Council has had to set up a new town council Facebook page as the old one was blocked and frozen by Facebook without explanation, despite months of attempts to resolve the situation. We ask that people ‘like’ this new site for Wotton Town Council and we will, as a Council, endeavour to keep followers as updated as possible with matters relating to the Town Council in Wotton and any other matters which may affect the residents of (or visitors to) our lovely town.
