The residents of Wotton Under Edge are invited to join the 2022 Annual Community Meeting on Monday 9th May at 6.30pm. This is an informal meeting of the community including free refreshments.
Please join us to hear about the latest projects in the town including the Synwell Playing Fields new play equipment designs which we need your thoughts and ideas on; Symn Lane car park; Old Town Toilets; the Town Hall; increasing the biodiversity of Wotton; the new Greenway between Wotton, Kingswood, and Charfield; future events; as well as updates from our fantastic community organisations including the Heritage Centre, Swimming Pool, Community Sports Foundation, and more!
We are also looking for new councillors to join the Council team. This would be a great opportunity to meet your councillors and to find out what the various Councils do, how you can support the community, and what is involved in being a town councillor. It is also an opportunity to say thank you to Councillor Roger Claydon who is standing down as the Town Mayor after 3 unusual years!
This is a great opportunity to raise issues, to put forward your ideas for improving the town and surrounding areas, and to discuss your priorities.
