Halls in Stroud District – nominate a Trustee for special recognition!
Stroud Village and Community Hall Network is running a celebratory event for halls based in the Stroud district to help recognise the volunteer input that many trustees contribute to help run community buildings for us all to use.
They are asking for nominations for a trustee who you think should receive recognition for their hard work.
Nominations categories are:
• The Trustee who has gone the extra mile to help make their community building a special place
• Longest Serving Trustee
The event will be held on Monday 7th November 6.30pm for a 7pm start at Whitminster Village Hall.
The event will also include how to run a successful Annual General Meeting and how to attract more people to AGMs, prospective trustees/committee members. Stroud Village & Community Halls should confirm their attendance with the Network via honor-k@pm52.freeserve.co.uk
To nominate a Trustee(s) for special recognition or as longest serving trustee please email: helenr@grcc.org.uk stating which Stroud District based hall the trustee is involved with and why you think they should receive recognition or nominate a trustee to be recognised for their length of service stating the length of time they have been a committee member. If you have a funny trustee moment you can also email Helen to let her know as we would like to share these with the audience at the event.
Deadline for nominations is 5pm Friday, 4th November.
