I am writing to advise you that the Governing Body of Blue Coat CE VA Primary School are
holding a public consultation of their Proposed Admission Policy 2022: the proposed policy is
attached to this letter and can also be viewed on the Blue Coat Primary website at

The principal changes on which the Governing Body are consulting concern where there is
shared custody of a child, consideration of applications for a place where the school’s
Published Admission Number may be exceeded and removal of the admissions criteria
relating to Church attendance.
Comments on this public consultation should be made before 11th December and sent to the
Clerk to Governors either via the postal address of the school (Blue Coat CEVA Primary
School, Symn Lane, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire GL12 7BD) or by email to
