Emergency highways issues are classed as follows:
Objects on the highway network (i.e. a fallen tree)
Faulty temporary or permanent traffic lights (i.e. stuck on red)

Multiple street lighting faults
Flooded roads
Potholes over 75mm deep
Manhole/Metal Cover (i.e. missing/dangerous)

The emergency duty team are available for reporting concerns about a child and/or an adult outside of normal office hours. During normal office hours, please visit the report a child protection concern page or the adults and older people page.

The emergency duty team hours are:
- 16:45pm – 08:45am Monday to Thursday
- 16:45pm Friday – Monday 08:45am (including Bank holidays and Christmas Day and New Years Day)
