Do you need help with digital technology skills?
There are two courses coming up at The Keepers.
Creative writing and IT for beginners. (The first aid course is already full, but if you would be interested in a future course – please let us know).
Creative writing – there is no eligibility criteria for this course – it is open to everyone. Four Thursdays 11.30 – 1pm. Starting 10th October. We’re thrilled to announce the return of Creative Writing Workshops, led by the talented local author and playwright Mark Seaman.
IT for beginners – Monday 4th of November 2024 – Monday 16th of December 2024. 1.30pm – 3.30pm. See poster. The course is free if you are over 19 years old, have lived in the UK/ EU for 3 or more years, or have a valid Residence Permit, and are one of the following: Unemployed/retired or earning below £25,000 per year; Qualified below a Level 2 (less than 5 GCSEs); Have mental health challenges, Have a learning difficulty or disability.
If you don’t fulfil the eligibility criteria – you can still attend the course – and pay £5 a session.
