A new Neighbourhood Warden Rachel Pratt, is working in the Wotton-under-Edge area. Her role is to act as the eyes and ears of the community, to provide a reassuring presence and to work towards reducing anti-social behaviour and low level crime.
Rachel deals with fly tipping, abandoned vehicles, litter, graffiti, dog fouling, and provides support /signposting residents to other local services, home security checks, emergency planning and assistance within the community.
She work on a shift basis, Monday to Saturday including daytime and evenings and works closely with other local agencies such as the Police, Town and Parish Councils, local businesses and Village Agent.
Rachel covers Uley, Dursley, North Nibley, Wotton- under-Edge, Kingswood, Alderley, Hillesley and Tresham and will be out patrolling on foot and in my marked vehicle. Please feel free to approach her with any issues/concerns you may have.
