Gloucestershire County Council Highways Department will shortly be undertaking carriageway resurfacing works at Wortley Road, between Wortley and Alderley.
The work is programmed to take place between 2nd – 9th December.
Because of the road width and type of works, the road will be subject to a Road Closure in order to ensure the safety of both the travelling public and the workforce completing the work.
Access for vehicles during the works will be extremely limited due to the nature of the work and the size
of machinery to be used. It would therefore be a great help if residents could avoid parking vehicles within the
